About the Ride
Zero suicides, it's as
simple as that.
In September 2025, four adventurous Aussie women will attempt something that’s never been done before — riding Australia’s first QUAD TANDEM bike across the country. A true world-first.
Over six weeks, the team will pedal more than 4,000 kilometres, starting from Scarborough Beach in Perth and finishing at Bondi Beach in Sydney. Along the way, they’ll stop in schools, communities, and towns to share their story, highlight the importance of connection, and open up conversations about mental health.
This ride is about much more than the bike. It’s a symbol; a powerful, eye-catching way to draw attention to the urgent issue of suicide in Australia. Right now, we lose seven men and two women every day.
Through Ride4Life, the team is aiming to raise $500,000 for Gotcha4Life, a not-for-profit committed to building mental fitness, stronger connections, and ending the suicide epidemic.
We invite you to join us - follow the journey, share the message, and if you can, donate. Every bit of support fuels the ride and helps us create real change.

About the Cause
GOTCHA4LIFE is more than a charity, it’s a movement for change. Founded in 2017 by media personality Gus Worland, after the heartbreaking loss of his best mate and mentor to suicide, the organisation was built on a simple but urgent truth: every year, over 3,000 Australians take their own lives, and far too many people are struggling in silence.
From that grief, a mission was born - to ensure no one worries alone. GOTCHA4LIFE is dedicated to building the mental fitness of all Australians, helping people develop the strength, skills, and support networks they need to face life’s challenges.
The team achieves this through powerful preventative programs, workshops, and resources delivered in schools, workplaces, sporting clubs, and communities nationwide. These programs are designed to do more than raise awareness; they give people the confidence to reach out, speak up, and have meaningful conversations that truly connect. Conversations that can change and even save lives.
Gus and the GOTCHA4LIFE team share a bold vision: a suicide-free future, where mates look out for mates, families stand strong together, and every single person feels safe, valued, and supported.
Meet the Riders

Hi, I'm Louise!
A high-spirited, adventurous, God-fearing girl always looking out for that next adventure my bike can take me on, especially when it's for a cause I truly believe in. My greatest joy has been raising my four amazing sons alongside my husband Paul. Together we have explored many beautiful places in the great outdoors. Cycling has always been a huge part of my life. This is why I founded my charity Ride4Rescue. I've already completed two tandem rides with my sons – 1,000km with Nat and 2,300km with Matty.
Now I'm gearing up for my biggest adventure yet! Riding a custom-made quad tandem bike across Australia with three amazing women, covering over 4,000km! This journey is not just about the ride - it's about supporting Gotcha4life, an organisation committed to making the world a place where no one has to worry alone. On the tough days, it's this that will keep me pedalling. Every kilometre is a step closer to a world where mental health (or mental fitness as Gotcha4Life calls it) is prioritised, and no one worries alone and considers ending their life.

Hi, I'm Sonia!
Probably coming in as the least sporty (and most nerdy) of these great women. Regardless, I love bringing life to projects that empower and uplift people in our communities both here and abroad. This is definitely one of those! Helping people to heal is what I do every day and building resilience, improving mental health and saving lives is my ikigai, so if it means sitting on a bike for six weeks chatting to three friends as we scope out Australia, so be it. Let's make that difference!

G'day, I'm Anna!
I'm a passionate educator by day, teaching Health & Physical Education and Mathematics to high school students. I also love writing and singing songs that encourage and bring joy to others. Other passions are surfing, eating mangoes and reading. I am feeling excited and nervous about this Down Under adventure! Excited for all the beautiful sights and quality time with the gals, yet nervous for all the potholes and fumes we will be riding through! It's for a great cause though, let's do it!!

Hello, I'm Rach!
A fun-loving, spontaneous and outdoorsy gal who loves any adventure under the summer sun, especially one which travels across our beautiful and open landscapes in Australia. When I heard about this world first challenge I just had to be a part of it! I'm a PE teacher, and have been privileged to teach at a number of remote schools – as far away as the Gulf of Carpentaria and Norfolk Island – encouraging students to keep active, living happier and healthier. Running is my preferred exercise, but have jumped on the bike for a few charity bike rides before – raising money for important causes gives me the motivation for that!
